Day 5 -- "Text Snippets Poetry?"

I was looking at the page on my phone where the beginnings of text messages are displayed, and it reminded me of a "spine" poem. That gave me an idea. I wrote down the beginnings of the texts (with sensitive or personal information left out), and in so doing, it seems I've created a "text snippets" poem. Is this a new type of poetry? Is this a poem at all? I don't know, but I think it's interesting anyway. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteHi Aunt Judy! Cool idea! It reminds me of newspaper poetry. You take a page of a newspaper or magazine and you black out the words except for the ones that you want to make the poem. I have never tried it, but I cataloged a book about it several months ago.
