SOLSC Day3 - Today's Bits of Happiness

Slice Of Life Story Challenge: Day 3 - Today's Bits of Happiness
**********

There are little bits of happiness all around us every day, but life keeps us so busy that we don't always notice them.  It's so easy to get caught up in all our work, schedules, problems, activities, and deadlines, that we don't take time to smell the roses, so to speak. I think we can all feel a little better if we learn to look for the small, happy things that happen every day, and simply appreciate them!

Here are a few little bits that made me happy today:

*The luxury of sleeping late on Saturday
*Bright, glorious, spectacular-after-many-days-of-rain  S U N S H I N E
*Clear blue skies
*Leaf buds on trees
*A phone call with my sister
*Thin Mints Girl Scout cookies
*Thoughts of Spring
*A letter from an old friend
*A School Specialty catalog to browse
*Crocus and tulip leaves poking up through the ground

What little things made you happy today?

:-)

  2. Judy, I'm pinning this post on my Slice of Life board. I'm thinking it might make the perfect mentor text on a day I am struggling to write. I loved it. For some reason, I'm now fighting an urge to grab the box of Girl Scout Cookies from the fridge and go check the trees.

  3. Things that made me happy:
Mass, singing in Latin, eating cheese crackers filled with cheese, Dijon style mustard, a music video shared by a relative, knowing the song at church, peanut butter and chocolate Cherrios, the view of the snow out the window, studying French and Spanish
