"Another Six Word Story"

I'm going to do another 6-word story for my writing today because I have a lot going on and I'm short on writing time! So, what is going on in my life right now, that I can write a 6-word memoir for? Well, the whole Covid-19 virus pandemic which is affecting the entire world right now is, of course, the main topic of discussion for everyone. There's the fact that all of Ohio is now (as of midnight last night) officially under stay-at-home orders, except for essential businesses. And of course, the fact that all schools in Ohio have been closed for at least a week now, and I haven't been able to work for the past week, and have gotten no pay....well, that's been just a tad important for me. So, in other words, there's nothing much going on in my life. Ha!!!
The good news is that I got word today that I'm going to be able to start working part time from home for my school. I'll have some money coming in, and I'll be able to actually provide some much-needed services to my students. I'm excited! The bad news is that I have to learn some new technology before tomorrow morning so that I can take part in some online meetings that start at 8:30 AM. I've got my work cut out for me for this evening!!
Okay, with all that said, here is my 6-word memoir for today:
Drop everything else;
learn technology tonight!

DeleteGood news for you today for a few reasons...from finances to supporting your students. I'm glad things are coming together. I promise the technology will work out. By learning these new tech skills, you'll be a great example for your students and if you need help, they will probably be some of the best teachers for you. Wishing you a smooth transition.
